Classes

Pacific Sole Futsal Classes are 90 minute to 2 hour (class time durations depend on specific class types and locations; check schedule for more info) long classes offered at various locations in the city of San Diego area, on different days/evenings of the week. We will usually have 1-2 classes per day/evening at one specific location. Click on the Locations below to be taken to the Class Schedule (or here) where you will see what areas we are offering classes in and at what times are classes will take place. Usually for a certain area we will be there on 1 day/evening of the week (i.e. Thursday evenings in OB and Sunday mornings in Clairemont). You can register for Full Course Registration (8-week Futsal Course) or Single Class Registration which pays and books one class. Click here to Register.

At our classes we do lots of futsal gameplay and run exercises which teach:

- The fundamentals of futsal, that are distinct and a bit different from outdoor football (soccer), which include -

ATTACKING: ball control (emphasis on using bottom or “sole” of the foot), dribbling, passing, shooting, shielding and ball retention, 1 v 1 skills and beating opponents, combining with teammates, quick ball circulation, LOTS of movement away from the ball, very quick decision-making and set pieces

DEFENDING: stance, body position, posture, pressure or shutting down opponent, marking, tackling, intercepting, covering, supporting teammates, blocking passing lanes and shots, tracking runners and opposition team, reading game, quick decision making and set pieces
